Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel, Japan’s fifth Disney hotel, opened its doors on April 5, 2022, inviting guests to step into the world of the award-winning Disney and Pixar Toy Story film series.

 

The new hotel is situated directly in front of Bayside Station on the Disney Resort Line, providing convenient access to both Tokyo Disneyland® and Tokyo DisneySea® Parks. Guests staying here will find that their dream-filled Disney experience continues from the Parks to the hotel.

 

Themed to the Toy Story film series, the hotel’s exterior, entrance, lobby and other areas feature effects and design elements from the world of toys. Guests entering the hotel will feel as if they have shrunk down to the size of a toy when they see the larger-than-life figures of Buzz Lightyear and Jessie at the Slinky Dog Park in the plaza right in front of the hotel entrance, and Woody and Bo Peep in the Toy Friends Square inside the courtyard, each of the characters being about four meters tall. The lobby is filled with colorful toy motifs from the patterns on the floor resembling large puzzle pieces to the ceiling depicting a board game. The guest rooms are designed based on Andy’s room in the first Toy Story film, with a blue sky and white cloud wallpaper, as well as toy-inspired fixtures, including a large Mickey Mouse watch hanging on the wall.

 

Tokyo Disney Resort Toy Story Hotel will be the first “moderate type” Disney hotel in Japan, offering guests a new option between the existing “deluxe type” and “value type” Disney hotels. Offering 595 guest rooms with a unified design and specifications, as well as facilities and services to ensure a comfortable stay, this hotel will offer guests accommodations that are in easier reach compared to a deluxe type hotel.
