Begins Sponsorship at Tokyo Disneyland and Tokyo DisneySea

 

 

URAYASU, CHIBA— Jupiter Telecommunications Co., Ltd. (headquarters: Tokyo, Chiyoda-ku; president: Toshio Maki) and Oriental Land Co., Ltd., (headquarters: Chiba, Urayasu-shi; president and COO: Kyoichiro Uenishi) announced that Jupiter Telecommunications has become a corporate participant of Tokyo Disneyland® Park and Tokyo DisneySea® Park as of March 30. Jupiter Telecommunications, also known as J:COM, will sponsor Camp Woodchuck¹, Woodchuck Greeting Trail², and Camp Woodchuck Kitchen³ at Tokyo Disneyland and Abu’s Bazaar⁴ at Tokyo DisneySea.

 

As Japan’s largest CATV company and a leader in the multi-channel market, Jupiter Telecommunications aims to provide “a service that resonates” and, with deep roots in local communities, it strives to deliver exciting and inspiring media entertainment for all. At Tokyo Disney Resort®, Oriental Land Co. adheres to the basic philosophy of the Disney theme parks to provide family entertainment that takes visitors out of the everyday world. This mutual desire to offer entertainment for people of all ages is behind Jupiter Telecommunications decision to become a corporate participant. 

 

With the participation of Jupiter Telecommunications, there will be 27 companies sponsoring facilities at Tokyo Disneyland and 26 companies sponsoring Tokyo DisneySea facilities.

 

 

¹Camp Woodchuck, located along the banks of the Rivers of America in Westernland, is themed to a wilderness campground where characters from the Disney comic book series, “Junior Woodchucks” enjoy the camp activities.  

²At this Disney character greeting facility, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck are dressed as Junior Woodchuck leaders to meet Guests and pose with them for keepsake photos.

³Camp Woodchuck Kitchen, which offers indoor and terrace seating for around 440 Guests on two floors, has a menu that includes camping-inspired food.

⁴Guests can enjoy two types of games at this shop themed to the character Abu from the Disney film Aladdin.
